ToolWorks Copilot

The ToolWorks Copilot is an AI-powered virtual teammate that revolutionizes how you interact with the system. By leveraging advanced natural language processing and machine learning algorithms, Copilot allows you to manage your tools and equipment through simple, conversational interactions – just as if you are talking to a human colleague.

Launch The Copilot

You can launch the Copilot from anywhere, just by click the Copilot call-out button on the Top Bar. Or invoke is using the keyboard shortcut Window/Cmd - A. On Mobile, just tap the Copilot tab on the bottom of the screen.

Chat With The Copilot

The Copilot is a virtual teammate that can assist you with a wide range of tasks, such as:

• Requesting tools and equipment
• Checking tool availability and status
• Transferring tools between locations
• Adding new users to the system

Just type in your request and the Copilot will respond with a quick and accurate answer.

You can also use quick pickers for Location and User to simplify your requests.

Examples of Copilot usage

1. Transfer tools - Transfer Hammer Drill and 2 drill bits from Warehouse to Job site
2. Find / Locate tools - Show me 20V Cordless Drill across all stores
3. Request tools - I need a cordless drill and 2 drill bits
4. Cancel Request - Cancel my request abc-xyz
5. Check Status of Request - What happened to my request abc-xyz for cordless drill
6. Self Checkout Tools - I will like to checkout cordless drill.
7. Self Reserve Equipment - I will like to reserve Forklift for 2 days starting tomorrow
8. Self Check In tools - I will like to return cordless drill
9. Checkout / Assign tools (Store Staff/Admin) - Assign cordless drill to Maggie
10. Reserve Equipment (Store Staff/Admin) - Reserve Forklift for 2 days starting tomorrow for Maggie
11. Extend Reservation (Store Staff/Admin) - Extend Forklift reservation for Maggie for 2 more days
12. Return / Check-in tools (Store Staff/Admin) - Check in cordless drill from Maggie
13. Add User (Admin) - Add Albert Borland (al@binford.com) as Admin and Heidi Keppert (heidi@binford.com) as Store Staff
14. Modify User (Admin) - Change Heidi to Store Manager
15. Delete User (Admin) - Delete Heidi
16. My Tools - show me list of my tools
17. User Tools (Store Staff/Admin)- show me list of tools for Heidi
18. Update Meter - Update mileage for GMC truck to 20389.
19. Service Maintenance - Finished inspecting Forklift, found no problems, everything looks good. Performed greasing and lubrication as per schedule.

Above are few examples of Copilot usage. If you are using tools with barcode, just say "Transfer 10242 and 2 20389 from Warehouse to Job site", basically replace tool name with tool barcode. Similarly for users, you can replace user name with user email.

When dealing with Copilot, assume you are talking to a team member and converse accordingly. No need to follow the exact examples listed above, just converse what comes to your mind.
