My Transfers Management
My Transfers Management allows you to get tools from a teammate, give tools to a teammate, and fulfill tool transfer request.
Requests
Quickly locate any transfer request using simple search functionality, just enter few characters of transfer request number and it will auto search and show relevant transfers.
Advance filter allows you to filter transfers by status. Requests are shown in Pending, Ready, Declined, Completed and Cancelled states.
In addition, you can also filter on transfer type, Transfer In (get tools) or Transfer Out (give tools).
Transfer In
Field Transfer allows you to transfer tools from one use to another, this way keeping track of proper tool ownership!
Transfer In allows you to request tools from fellow tool owner or Accept tool transfer requested
Steps - Create Request
- Select My Transfers tab [shift-ctrl-t or shift-m-x]
- Click
Get Tools
(in top right corner) - This opens us Get Tools View
- Select Tool Owner from whom you will like to request tools
- Select Add Tools to add tool.
- On Add Tools View, you can find tool by tool name or catalog number and add needed tool from search results. You can continue with different search and add tools as needed.
- Alternatively on mobile, if you already have tool that you will like to request, use Scanner to scan the tool barcode and it will be added to list.
- When you have completed adding all desired tools, select Done and you will be back to Get Tools View
- You should see list of all tools that you just added. You have option to alter quantity or remove a tool if you changed your mind! (swipe left on mobile)
- Select Create to create transfer request. Once submitted, request is sent to the tool owner.
- You can check status or Cancel if you no longer needs tools from My Transfers tab.
- You will be notified once Transfer Request is Ready.
- You can check progress by selecting transfer request and looking at tools fulfilled / requested count.
Additional Actions
Cancel Request
If you no longer needs tools that you requested, you can cancel transfer request unit it is Ready.
Accept Request
You will get notification about status of Request. If tool owner has added requested tools and fulfilled the request, you will get Ready notification.
Steps - Accept Request
- Select My Transfers tab
- Select Ready filter to see list of Ready request.
- Select Request. This will open up Transfer - Ready view, which shows owner and list of tools that will be transferred.
- Select Accept to get tools and complete transfer request
- Alternatively, if you no longer need requested tool, select Decline.
Note:
- Tool Owner can decide to Decline or only partially fulfill request. Hopefully, you already had chat with owner before submitting request.
- Tool Owner can also initiate tool transfer request and transfer tools to you.
- Tool Transfer request can also be initiated by Store Staff with proper rights.
Transfer Out
Field Transfer allows you to transfer tools from one use to another, this way keeping track of proper tool ownership!
Transfer Out allows you to fulfill tool transfer request from colleague or initiate direct tool transfer request.
Step - Tool Transfer
- Select My Transfers tab
- Click
Give Tools
- This opens New Transfer View
- Select Tool Recipient to whom you will transfer tools
- Select Add Tools.
- on mobile, you can use Scanner to scan the tool barcode that you will like to transfer and it will be added to list.
- Alternatively, you can also manually add the desired inventory. Select Keyboard (top left corner) to bring up Add Tools view.On Desktop, when you select "Add Tools", you will we directly presented with Add Tools View.
- When you have completed adding all desired tools, select Done and you will be back to New Transfer View
- You should see list of all tools that you just added. You have option to alter quantity or remove a tool if you changed your mind! (swipe left on mobile)
- Select Create to create transfer request. Once submitted, Tool Recipient is notified of tool availability.
Note:
Tool Recipient may decline the request.
Step - Fulfill Tool Transfer
- Select My Transfers tab
- Select a Pending request to fulfill. This will bring up Tool Transfer Request view. You can see when request was created and by whom along with date requested, and tools or equipments requested.
- To fulfill a particular item on Mobile, select the item to bring up Scanner. Item is shown at top for reference. Scan desired inventory. Once the inventory has been identified, Scan view will disappear, and you will be returned back to original fulfill request view
- Alternatively, you can also manually add the desired inventory. Select Keyboard (top left corner) to bring up Add Tools view. It should show you list of items with item preselected, ready to be added. Add or Remove as needed and when finished, select "Done". On Desktop, when you select "Add Tools", you will we directly presented with Add Tools View.
- You will be back to Transfer Request View. Note that added item has now a green status bar with updated count (Fulfilled/Requested), indicating that it was added. You can select arrow to see actual inventory. You can also change quantity for Bulk and Consumables.
- If you will like to remove one the inventory items that you added, just swipe left and inventory will be removed. (or select Trash icon on Desktop)
- You can continue to fulfill rest of request by scanning additional inventory.
- Once completed, select Accept to indicate that request is ready for transfer!
Additional Actions
Decline
You can select "Decline" if you don't want to transfer requested tools!
