ToolWorks Now Supports Passkeys: A Faster, Safer, Password-Free Login

We're excited to announce a major security and usability enhancement to ToolWorks: Passkey-based login is now available across both our Web App and Mobile Apps (iOS & Android)!

With Passkeys, you can now log into ToolWorks using your device's biometric authentication—like Fingerprint Scan, Face ID, or Device PIN—instead of typing in a password. It's faster, more convenient, and significantly more secure than traditional passwords.

What Are Passkeys?

Passkeys are a next-generation login technology that replaces passwords with cryptography-based authentication tied to your device. Developed as a safer and easier alternative to passwords, passkeys eliminate risks of phishing, data breaches, and password fatigue.

Instead of remembering complex passwords or resetting forgotten ones, you simply authenticate with a face scan, fingerprint, or device PIN—something unique to you.

How to Set Up Your ToolWorks Passkey

Getting started is easy:

1. Login to ToolWorks via your usual email/password method.
2. Navigate to your Profile Page.
3. Click "Create Passkey" and follow the system prompts to register a Passkey on your device.
4. Next time you login, you’ll see the "Login with Passkey" option!

Once set up, you’ll experience passwordless login—secure, seamless, and future-proof.
